California et al. v. Department of Education - Teacher Grants
8 states sued over termination of Teacher Quality Partnership and SEED grants. Judge Joun granted TRO. Government appealed to First Circuit (denied) then to Supreme Court, which vacated the TRO 5-4. Separate challenge by AACTE and others resulted in another TRO from Judge Rubin.
AACTE v. Department of Education - SEED/TQP/TSL Grants
American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education challenged termination of SEED, TQP, and TSL grants. Judge Rubin granted TRO on Administrative Procedures Act grounds. Appeal pending in Fourth Circuit.
